Mental Health Counselor

What you'll do

• Develop therapy plans with goals and objectives
• provide crisis intervention when needed
• use patient information, interviews, observation, and testing to assess mental health
• refer clients and families to community resources or specialists as appropriate
• monitor client situations and provide follow-up
• conduct and interpret psychological evaluations
• provide counseling and psychotherapy
• document care and consult with supervisors.
