The position supports the kitchen at Embassy Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs, preparing food for the chef or cook and helping deliver the hotel’s guest experience. The prep cook prepares ingredients and basic kitchen items, follows recipes and food-safety procedures, and keeps the workstation clean. This work helps the kitchen prepare meals efficiently and consistently.

What you'll do

• Measure and prepare condiments
• wash, peel, dice, and slice produce
• slice meats and mix sauces
• maintain and sanitize the prep area and equipment
• follow recipes, meal charts, labels, and food-safety protocols
• assist with basic cooking tasks and other cooks as needed.
