What you'll do

• Develop lesson plans and activities
• meet individual children’s needs
• communicate with parents, colleagues, and students
• participate in staff and training meetings
• arrange the classroom to support learning goals and developmental levels
• interact with children through play, exploration, and learning
• set age-appropriate expectations
• use assessment tools
• complete diaper changes and support potty training when assigned to resource duties or classrooms for children under three
• continue professional education.
