Parts Sales Manager

The Parts Sales Manager role is onsite in Utica, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pay is $75,000–$100,000 per year. Hunter Truck is a Peterbilt dealer group with locations across several states. The manager leads the parts department to meet sales and profit goals through purchasing, inventory control, pricing, staffing, and customer service. The role supports dealership operations by maintaining parts availability, developing staff, and coordinating with service, body shop, fleet, and wholesale customers.

What you'll do

• Set department goals and work toward them
• hire, train, motivate, and monitor staff
• develop training and succession plans
• prepare and administer the annual budget
• analyze sales, expenses, and inventory
• hold department meetings
• provide technical assistance
• monitor payroll and reports
• maintain customer processes and satisfaction
• manage inventory levels, obsolescence, returns, replenishment, and stock orders
• coordinate parts for internal jobs
• direct shipping, receiving, counter sales, outside sales, and telemarketing
• develop promotions and pricing
• handle complaints and assist with past-due accounts
• conduct inventory cycles
• enforce safety policies and investigate incidents.
