Purchasing Agent — Residential Construction

The role also strengthens trade partner relationships, resolves purchasing issues, and improves purchasing processes and construction efficiency.

What you'll do

• Manage purchasing for assigned homes, communities, or product lines
• obtain and negotiate pricing
• prepare and review purchase and work orders
• monitor material and labor costs
• analyze purchasing data
• maintain trade partner relationships and documentation
• solicit and evaluate bids
• review plans and scopes
• coordinate with construction teams
• visit sites as needed
• maintain purchasing records and reports
• recommend process improvements.
