Experienced Fire Alarm Technician

The Experienced Fire Alarm Technician role is onsite in Fort Pierce, FL. Pay is $28–$40 per hour. The technician supports commercial fire alarm system inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The role helps ensure commercial fire alarm systems operate properly and comply with NFPA codes, local fire codes, AHJ requirements, and manufacturer specifications. Accurate documentation and clear communication with customers, building management, and fire marshals support safe and compliant service.

What you'll do

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial fire alarm systems
• complete inspection reports and service documentation
• ensure systems comply with NFPA 72, local fire codes, AHJ requirements, and manufacturer specifications
• communicate with customers, building management, and fire marshals
• identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• maintain company tools, vehicle, and inventory
• follow safety procedures and company policies.

Why this role

Requires at least 2 years of commercial fire alarm installation, inspection, testing, and service experience; working knowledge of NFPA 72, NFPA 70, local fire codes, and AHJ requirements; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; and FASA/BASA within the last 5 years. Pay is based on fire alarm experience.
