Manufacturing Process Support

The Manufacturing Process Support role is onsite in Auburn Hills, MI, and pays $40–$45 per hour. The position works with manufacturing stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Corporate Planning, Vehicle Process Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, Production Operations, Industrial Engineering, and Program Management. The role manages product-change coordination by gathering and organizing impact information, tracking approvals and funding needs, and preparing reports and presentations. This work helps teams assess proposed changes and provide information for program approval and manufacturing planning.

What you'll do

• Participate in product change and bulletin meetings
• schedule meetings with the manufacturing extended team to communicate changes and gather impact data
• use process tools and formats to manage changes, impacts, and required funds
• provide impact data to the Program MCE for approval
• prepare responses for Product Engineering
• track approvals for funding requests
• and prepare reports and presentations.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of automotive manufacturing and product development experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
