Substitute Classroom Assistant

The Substitute Classroom Assistant position is onsite at Montessori school sites in Portland, OR; compensation is $23.16 per hour for training and classroom work. Substitute assistants support lead teachers and staff with classroom supervision and daily routines, including arrivals, meals, outdoor play, and departures. What you'll do

• Assist lead teachers and staff with general classroom supervision and management
• support student arrivals, meals, outdoor play, and departures
• perform light cleaning
• be available on short notice for school days during the 2026–27 school year and potentially following years
• complete mandatory training arranged and paid for by the employer.
