What you'll do

• Implement physician orders and administer prescribed medications
• observe patients and document progress notes
• evaluate symptoms and report concerns
• maintain security while dispensing medications
• dispose of needles and syringes properly
• prepare required reports
• maintain accreditation and company-policy compliance
• document patient contacts and services
• evaluate referrals for mental illness
• refer patients as needed
• provide emergency psychiatric care as required
• provide in-service education when requested
• participate in quality-of-care reviews.
