Infant/Toddler Coach — Early Head Start

The Infant/Toddler Coach role is onsite across Children's Friend sites in Providence, Pawtucket, and Central Falls, RI. The salary range is $46,668–$57,000 per year. The coach reports to the Manager of Early Childhood Partnerships and supports Early Head Start teachers, partner-site educators, and children from birth to age three. The role strengthens classroom quality and child development through individualized coaching, professional development, and collaboration with program specialists and community-based sites. Monitoring curriculum, assessments, screenings, and school-readiness outcomes helps support program standards and positive outcomes for children and families.

What you'll do

• Coach, mentor, and support Early Head Start teachers and partner-site educators through observations and individualized plans
• promote developmentally appropriate, relationship-based practices
• support compliance with Early Head Start standards, Rhode Island licensing regulations, and agency policies
• provide training on curriculum, CLASS, ITERS, active supervision, responsive caregiving, and child development
• collaborate with program specialists
• monitor curriculum, assessments, screenings, and school-readiness outcomes
• participate in program monitoring, reviews, self-assessments, and quality improvement.
