Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager works onsite at The Point at McLean in McLean, VA. Pay is $26–$30 per hour, plus monthly lease and renewal commission and eligibility for up to a 10% quarterly bonus. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with one required weekend per month. The role supports the property’s onsite management and maintenance team at a 319-unit Class A community. The assistant helps manage daily property operations, leasing, resident accounts, and service. By coordinating with the Property Manager, leasing, and maintenance teams, the role contributes to occupancy and retention goals and a strong resident experience.

What you'll do

• Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day property operations and provide guidance to the onsite team
• work with leasing and management teams toward leasing, marketing, occupancy, and retention objectives
• coordinate with maintenance to provide resident service
• prepare resident correspondence about rents and compliance
• maintain resident relationships through communication and outreach
• prepare financial reports and account statements
• monitor resident accounts
• support accurate leasing processes
• evaluate market trends and competitor promotions.
