The manager leads Buyers and oversees the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle, sourcing, contracts, supplier performance, and purchasing for vessels, maintenance projects, equipment, parts, supplies, and services. The role supports operational reliability and cost savings through procurement strategy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Support development and execution of procurement strategy, plans, and long-term roadmap
• lead and guide Buyers
• oversee purchasing for vessels, barges, maintenance projects, equipment, parts, supplies, and services
• manage the Procure-to-Pay process and purchase orders through completion
• conduct spend, category, and contract analysis
• support CAPEX and Engineering sourcing and contracting
• lead RFQ and RFP processes, bid evaluations, negotiations, and vendor selection
• manage supplier relationships, performance evaluations, Approved Vendor Lists, and improvement initiatives
• ensure policy and contract compliance
• monitor procurement KPIs and drive process improvements
• collaborate with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
