Test/Software Engineer

The Test/Software Engineer role is onsite in Concord, CA, at EMCORE’s Quartz MEMS facility. Salary is $125,000–$180,000 per year. EMCORE develops inertial navigation solutions for aerospace, defense, commercial, and industrial applications. The engineer develops and maintains software, data systems, and statistical methods that support testing of inertial sensors. The role helps ensure rigorous production and engineering tests, investigates test and data issues, and provides technical support to engineering, operations, and customers.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain production test and post-processing software using C#, VB.NET, and/or Python
• diagnose software and test-station issues
• analyze production test data and perform statistical analysis
• support requirements and change control
• maintain test procedures and reports
• support hardware qualification testing
• maintain production database records
• respond to technical inquiries and support customer meetings.
