Maintenance Coordinator — Fleet Operations

The Maintenance Coordinator role is onsite in Jackson, MS. Compensation is $19 per hour. The position supports Sysco’s Operations function with fleet maintenance records, repair coordination, and related administrative work. The coordinator enters purchase orders and work orders, tracks preventive maintenance, reviews parts inventory and vendor prices, and handles calls from drivers, associates, vendors, and customers. The role helps keep fleet maintenance information organized and management informed about Operations activities.

What you'll do

• Enter purchase orders and work orders into maintenance software
• direct calls to fleet managers or others as needed
• identify problems and propose shop-efficiency solutions
• maintain and review parts and supplies inventory
• analyze vendor prices
• use maintenance tracking software to schedule preventive maintenance and other work
• assign backhaul pickups
• answer incoming calls
• keep management informed of Operations activities.
