Plant Operator — 7-On/7-Off, Rotating Days and Nights

The Plant Operator role is onsite in Midland, TX, with compensation of $45–$55 per hour. The schedule is seven days on and seven days off, rotating between days and nights; candidates must reside in the Midland/Odessa area. Crimson Group provides automation, instrumentation, electrical design, and process-operation solutions. The operator monitors plant equipment and processes through control boards and computer systems, identifies operating deviations, and coordinates with field and maintenance personnel. The role supports safe, continuous plant operations through inspections, troubleshooting, accurate records, and efficiency improvements.

What you'll do

• Control plant equipment and processes through centralized control boards and computer systems
• inspect equipment and systems
• identify and resolve operational issues
• monitor flows, temperatures, pressures, and levels and take corrective action
• troubleshoot through the SCADA system
• communicate significant repair needs to maintenance
• coordinate with field personnel
• maintain operational, incident, and maintenance records
• work with maintenance on preventive maintenance and repairs
• analyze operational data and suggest efficiency improvements
• follow safety protocols.
