The Academic Adult Psychiatrist role is onsite in Malden, MA. Compensation is not specified. The position supports the Department of Psychiatry at Tufts Medical Center and the new Tufts Medicine Behavioral Health Hospital, a teaching hospital for psychiatric education across Tufts Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine. The psychiatrist will contribute to inpatient psychiatric care and the clinical development, quality improvement, and growth of the psychiatry program. The academic role also supports teaching, mentoring, curriculum development, and collaboration with faculty engaged in research.

What you'll do

• Provide care for adults with complex psychiatric illness
• help lead clinical development, quality improvement, and future growth of the inpatient psychiatry program
• collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues
• teach and mentor learners
• participate in curriculum development and educational innovation. Requires an MD or DO, board certification or eligibility in psychiatry, and eligibility for unrestricted Massachusetts medical licensure.
