CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Durango, CO, with pay of $24–$40 per hour depending on experience. The machinist supports a locally owned machine shop serving regional and international customers with precision machining and production manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines
• interpret blueprints and work instructions
• select and install tooling and fixtures
• monitor operations and adjust as needed
• inspect parts with precision measuring tools
• maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety protocols
• troubleshoot and optimize processes with teammates
• document work and report updates or issues.

Why this role
