Laundry Specialist

What you'll do

• Follow work and cleaning schedules
• coordinate routine laundry services with nursing services
• collect and sort soiled linens and clothing
• track items and report count discrepancies
• operate washing and drying machines
• fold and distribute clean articles
• press garments as instructed
• clean work areas and equipment
• maintain records
• use protective equipment when handling infectious waste or body fluids
• maintain confidentiality of resident information.
