The work helps maintain product performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance through software improvements and close collaboration with Product Support, Electrical, Systems, and Test Engineering.

What you'll do

• Develop, modify, and maintain embedded software for production aircraft power systems
• integrate and test software on hardware using lab equipment
• reproduce and investigate field and production issues
• perform root-cause analysis across hardware and software boundaries
• implement and verify corrective actions and design changes
• develop software artifacts under RTCA DO-178C Level D processes
• update requirements, architecture, design documents, and verification plans
• participate in peer reviews
• provide estimates and status updates
• document analyses and engineering change justifications
• improve software development and integration processes.

Why this role
