The Paid Creative Strategist (w/ a Sense of Humor) is an onsite role based in Chicago, IL. The pay is $90,000–$110,000 per year, and this position supports the marketing team in driving paid ad performance through creative strategy. The role exists to own the paid creative roadmap, manage the testing pipeline, and lead the creative team to produce high-performing, entertaining ads that drive sales.

What you'll do

• Set and prioritize the paid creative pipeline.
• Concept new ads from scratch.
• Build a real testing system.
• Live in creative analytics.
• Diagnose underperformers at the component level.
• Turn winners into families.
• Report clearly on what shipped, what worked, what didn't, and what's next.
• Manage and coach in-house paid creative producer(s), designers, and editors.
• Manage agencies contributing ads.
• Work hand-in-hand with photographer/videographer, designers, editors, and media buyers.
• Source and direct creators, UGC, and on-set talent.
• Be a strong individual contributor.
• Use AI creative tools aggressively.
