Phlebotomist — Part-Time Day Shift

What you'll do

• Send out pathology and cytology specimens, bone marrow biopsies, and fine needle aspirates
• review and enter patient demographics for pathology
• review and print pathology reports and enter histology charges
• order and prepare tests to standards
• verify lab orders and physician information and make corrections as needed
• perform venipuncture, heel sticks, and finger pokes
• verify patient information
• conduct drug screens and breathalyzers
• keep current with protocol changes.
