Reporting to the Production Manager, the CNC Programmer programs, sets up, operates, and troubleshoots CNC machines to meet engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances, quality standards, and production schedules. Accurate machining and inspection help the production team deliver components on time and to specification.

What you'll do

• Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines using FANUC controls and G and M codes
• operate multiple machines as required
• interpret blueprints and engineered drawings
• select or recommend cutting tools and fixtures
• secure workpieces and position gauges
• adjust feed rates, speeds, and machine settings for CNC Swiss Mill operations
• inspect components and record dimensional data
• calculate machining dimensions
• machine plastic and other nonmetallic materials when required.
