Construction Quality Technician I — Materials Testing

What you'll do

• Read construction plans, geotechnical reports, specifications, and codes
• perform field observations, testing, and inspections
• monitor contractor activities and document conformance
• test earthwork, fill, foundations, concrete, reinforcing steel, and asphalt
• collect samples and conduct testing under applicable standards
• use testing equipment
• prepare field and inspection reports
• communicate results and non-compliant conditions
• maintain equipment and supplies
• follow site safety procedures.
