North Adams Commons Nursing & Rehab Center provides rehabilitation, short-term care, skilled nursing, long-term care, respite, and hospice services. The charge nurse coordinates resident care and leads assigned nursing personnel to support safe, consistent services. The role combines medication and treatment administration, care coordination, documentation, staff oversight, and communication across nursing and support teams.

What you'll do

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• manage admissions, transfers, and discharges
• coordinate nursing-service discharge planning as needed
• collaborate with resident services
• complete forms, reports, evaluations, and charting
• transcribe physician orders
• document incidents
• lead assigned nursing personnel and direct nursing assistants
• conduct rounds and shift meetings
• enforce nursing policies
• monitor medication, supply, and equipment inventory.
