PRN Group Facilitator

Job overview

The PRN Group Facilitator role is onsite in Elgin, IL. Compensation is $50 per hour. The facilitator supports behavioral health programming across detoxification, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services. The role creates and leads specialty groups that provide clients with interactive learning and a meaningful complement to routine programming. It contributes to individualized, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care through group facilitation, timely clinical documentation, and coordination with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

What you'll do

• Facilitate specialty groups 1–4 times per month as scheduled
• prepare group materials and activities
• design and deliver interactive, experiential groups
• adapt content to client needs and acuity
• maintain a safe, trauma-informed environment
• complete compliant group documentation before the shift ends
• check in with clinical staff and report safety concerns or significant observations
• share feedback on group outcomes
• support crisis intervention as needed with on-site clinical staff.

Why this role

PRN hours are not guaranteed and are scheduled based on program needs and facilitator availability. Requires a master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field, and current Illinois licensure (LSW, LPC, LCPC, or LCSW).
