What you'll do

• Search and analyze public property records
• review legal descriptions, plats, and surveys
• identify liens and judgments
• prepare title commitments, policies, reports, and real estate transaction documents
• review and mark up commitments to protect lenders’ lien positions
• collaborate with title underwriters on requirements and exceptions
• issue final title policies after confirming clear title
• complete loan certifications
• review title applications and follow up for information
• respond to transaction parties’ requests.
