What you'll do

• Assess patients and prioritize care by acuity
• monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in condition. Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as ordered
• provide emergency care and assist with resuscitation. Maintain IV access, collect specimens, assist with diagnostics, document care, communicate patient status, educate patients and families, support transfers and discharge, and follow infection-control and safety standards. Required certifications listed include ACLS, BLS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS.
