What you'll do
- Develop and execute a quality and safety program that supports the overall system mission, vision and strategic priorities.
- Provide vision, leadership and oversight of the quality program to promote safety, effectiveness, efficiency and high reliability across the UCHealth's Southern region.
- Identify key areas of opportunity throughout the region and work in conjunction with the executive team and medical staff leadership to develop and implement improvement initiatives.
- Lead regional implementation of system-driven quality and safety priorities.
- Oversee and coordinate the integration of key functions in partnership with other key leaders including Infection Prevention, Epidemiology, Regulatory Affairs, Professional Practice Evaluation and Peer Learning, Risk Management and Patient Relations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for process improvement, clinical safety, and regulatory issues.
- Develop, mentor, and coach quality and safety leaders in the Southern region.
