HVAC Service Technician, Residential Heat Pumps

The HVAC Service Technician role is onsite in Centennial, CO, with pay of $32–$36 per hour. The position focuses on residential heat pump diagnostics and technical support, advancing Jetson’s mission to help homes transition from fossil fuels to sustainable energy use. The technician diagnoses system performance issues, checks complex installations, and shares field findings with installation, project, and engineering teams. The work helps ensure systems operate safely and to specification while improving installation processes and training.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and troubleshoot heat pumps and related HVAC systems
• conduct onsite walkthroughs of complex or high-priority installations
• provide technical assessments and feedback to installation teams, project managers, and engineering staff
• verify system functionality, airflow, and refrigerant performance
• document findings in field reports
• support training by identifying recurring installation challenges and best practices
• collaborate to complete work safely and to specification
• maintain service documentation and safety and quality standards.
