Custodian (Food Processing Sanitation)

The Custodian position is onsite in Boone, IA. Pay is $17 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The role supports sanitation in food processing areas and offices. The custodian cleans and sanitizes facilities, equipment, and tools to help maintain hygienic production conditions and prevent contamination. The work supports food safety compliance and coordination with Quality Assurance and Production teams.

What you'll do

• Clean floors, walls, drains, conveyors, and other facility areas using approved chemicals and tools
• clean office environments
• follow sanitation schedules
• use chemicals according to safety data sheets and PPE guidelines
• document sanitation activities
• inspect cleaned areas and equipment
• report malfunctions and safety issues
• coordinate with QA and Production
• comply with GMP, HACCP, BRC, and OSHA standards
• maintain sanitation supplies and storage areas.

Why this role
