What you'll do

• Monitor resident safety, security, and accountability
• build positive relationships with residents
• complete resident counts and facility checks
• write incident and shift reports and daily logs
• assist with admissions, discharges, and orientation
• conduct investigations and communicate findings
• collect urine drug screens
• perform facility, property, and personal searches
• monitor medication distribution
• process resident mail and requests
• transport residents to appointments, work sites, and court appearances
• reinforce positive behaviors and address behavioral concerns
• participate in meetings, debriefings, and training.
