Senior Accountant

Job overview

The Senior Accountant role is onsite in Westwood, CA; annual compensation is $100,000–$125,000. GHJ Search & Staffing is partnering with an established organization in West Los Angeles, and the role works with its accounting and finance team and senior finance leadership. The accountant supports accurate financial close and reporting, maintains general ledger records, assists with billing and reconciliations, and contributes to audit support and process improvements.

What you'll do

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and closing entries
• assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• maintain and review general ledger accounts
• support billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and payment processing
• prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• assist with audit and tax requests
• perform financial analysis and ad hoc reporting
• research accounting matters
• document and improve procedures and processes
• partner with the Controller and finance team.
