The Industrial Sand Blaster I role is onsite in Holland, MI, and is full-time at 40 hours per week. Pay is $16.50–$20.50 per hour. M.W. Watermark builds and refurbishes water and wastewater treatment equipment to help keep water supplies clean and usable. Working under the Paint Work Center Lead, the sandblaster prepares equipment surfaces for painting, stages materials, and maintains the blasting area and equipment. This work supports refinishing and repair of the company’s custom treatment equipment.

What you'll do

• Prepare surfaces for paint by sandblasting, grinding, sanding, degreasing, and seam sealing
• stage materials before and after painting
• mask areas before abrading
• maintain the work area, blasting equipment, booth, and nozzles
• operate forklifts, cranes, and man-lifts
• follow safety practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
