CNC Manufacturing Technician

Job overview

The CNC Manufacturing Technician role is onsite in Austin, TX. Compensation is $20–$28 per hour. The position supports CHIRP Robotics’ production of precision robotics components in an automated machining cell. The technician monitors and supports multiple CNC machines to keep production running safely and efficiently. The work includes tending automation, checking parts, responding to machine issues, maintaining equipment, and communicating quality or process concerns to the team.

What you'll do

• Monitor multiple CNC machines
• load or refill bar feeders, robots, and other automation systems
• remove and post-process finished parts
• inspect parts with measuring tools
• refill coolant and perform basic upkeep
• respond to alarms and simple errors
• maintain a clean, organized, safe work area
• track and move completed parts
• communicate tooling, quality, and process concerns
• support shop needs and basic equipment maintenance.
