Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician works onsite at Nevada Gold, about 40 miles south of Carlin, near Eureka, NV, for $15–$20 per hour. ESS Support Services Worldwide provides food and facility maintenance services for clients and resident workers at remote land sites and offshore locations. The technician maintains facility systems and equipment to support safe, reliable site operations. The role performs repairs and inspections, supports maintenance quality and training, and helps address complex building-system issues and emergencies.

What you'll do

• Perform skilled maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems and facilities
• service and diagnose HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire alarm, sprinkler, and other systems as trained and licensed
• lead workers on projects
• review vendor work
• maintain logs, rounds, work orders, tests, and inspections
• recommend preventive maintenance improvements
• serve on the facility emergency response team.
