The Staff Software Engineer (SSIT) is an onsite role in San Diego, CA, with a salary range of $158,400 to $237,600 per year. This role is part of the AISW engineering team, responsible for software system integration testing for the Delegates portfolio. The engineer will own subsystem-level validation at the feature development stage, working side-by-side with software engineers to define test strategies and build targeted test content. This is a shift-left quality role, ensuring feature robustness before transition to QA and System Integration Test.

What you'll do

  • Partner with delegate engineers to define testability requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Own SSIT test strategy and coverage targets.
  • Develop and maintain automated test content using Python/PyTest.
  • Validate on-device behavior on Snapdragon SoCs.
  • Triage failures and drive root cause analysis.
