Construction Manager

The Construction Manager role is onsite in Waco, TX. Compensation is not specified. The role helps ensure construction work meets project specifications, VA standards and codes, and VA Medical Center requirements. It coordinates submittals, RFIs, schedules, inspections, and documentation so project issues and deficiencies are identified and communicated to the COR.

What you'll do

• Coordinate submittal reviews and maintain the submittal register
• review proposed materials and methods for compliance with project specifications, VA standards and codes, and VA Medical Center requirements
• track RFIs and responses
• monitor schedules, milestones, phasing, workflow, deliveries, and testing
• verify and update as-built drawings
• inspect construction and report nonconforming work, defects, and omissions to the COR
• prepare observation reports, defect lists, modification narratives, sketches, and drawings as required.
