Job overview

The Food Service Cook, Child Care Center role is an onsite, full-time position in Columbus, OH, with expected hours of 20–35 per week. Pay is $12.50–$16.50 per hour. The cook supports Advantage Early Learning Academy’s USDA food program for its child care center.

What you'll do

• Plan and prepare balanced meals and snacks while accommodating children’s dietary restrictions
• follow the daily menu and portion standards
• ensure meals are ready on schedule
• assist with food ordering and quantity calculations
• maintain a clean, orderly, and safe kitchen and equipment
• set tables and clean storage, preparation, and dining areas
• follow the CFCP Food Program and applicable health and safety rules
• and attend required meetings and functions. Classroom duties may be assigned depending on staffing ratios.
