The Tower Technician I — Wireless Services is an onsite role based primarily out of the assigned location in Morgantown, WV. Compensation is not specified. The technician reports to the Construction Manager for Wireless Services and works on customer wireless infrastructure. The role supports wireless network construction, upgrades, and repairs by completing equipment work at ground level and elevated heights under trained personnel’s supervision. Safe execution, accurate site documentation, equipment troubleshooting, and coordination with the crew help deliver customer infrastructure work.

What you'll do

• Build, expand, and upgrade wireless infrastructure
• read site and construction documents
• install and upgrade equipment at heights
• troubleshoot equipment and network functionality
• report defects and hazards
• document labor and material costs
• complete site audits and material inventory
• execute rigging plans
• obtain customer approval for change orders
• learn to operate RF, PIM, and fiber test equipment
• assist with training less experienced team members.
