What you'll do

• Prepare and administer medications according to established procedures
• verify resident identity and record medication, dosage, and administration time
• consult an appropriate licensed practitioner about potentially inaccurate, ineffective, or contraindicated orders
• notify a supervisor when deciding not to administer
• take and record vital signs when required
• order and reorder medications
• maintain a clean medication room and cart
• complete required forms and documentation.
