Patient Transporter

The Patient Transporter role is onsite in Morehead, KY, with full-time and part-time schedules; days and hours may vary, and weekday, weekend, and holiday availability is required. Pay is $15.00–$16.00 per hour. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry, including patient transportation. This role exists to move patients, medical equipment, and related items safely, accurately, and on time within the hospital. The transporter coordinates with clinical and support staff, attends to patient comfort, and alerts nursing staff to signs of distress or equipment problems.

What you'll do

• Safely transport patients using appropriate equipment, secure patients and attached IVs or drainage tubes, and demonstrate competency across specific age groups.
• Communicate with nursing and other facility personnel, attend to patient comfort, report distress or equipment malfunctions, maintain equipment, and follow regulatory, confidentiality, and patient-rights requirements.
