Job overview

The Mental Health Practitioner works in person in homes, offices, and community settings throughout Martin County, FL, and also provides services via telehealth. The salary range is $52,000–$53,500 per year. The role supports the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County’s community-centered mental health programming. The practitioner helps caregivers of children and adolescents ages 0–18 build parenting skills and address behavioral and emotional challenges through the evidence-based Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). Documentation, outreach, presentations, and referral relationships support access to family services across the county.

  • Provide multiple levels of the Positive Parenting Program to caregivers
  • help families develop practical parenting strategies and strengthen relationships
  • maintain program documentation
  • conduct community outreach and presentations
  • build relationships with local organizations and referral partners
  • travel throughout Martin County.
