The Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Dispensing Nurse role is onsite in Brooklyn, MD. Compensation is $28–$33 per hour. The schedule is full time, with hours between 4:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and rotating Saturdays. Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health provides outpatient recovery and behavioral health treatment services. The nurse monitors patient needs and provides care at the OTP clinic, working with the Nurse Manager, Medical Director, and Clinical Supervisor. Medication dispensing, clinical assessments, documentation, and coordination help ensure patients receive appropriate care and the clinic’s medical records are complete.

What you'll do

• Confirm patient identity and medication using two identifiers
• manage medication inventory and dispense medication according to protocol
• process medical orders
• perform physical examinations and medical evaluations as required
• maintain accurate records and file documentation within 24 hours of an event
• collect and process specimens
• participate in review of new, readmission, and transfer clients
• intervene in crisis situations
• assess treatment needs
• coordinate with outside agencies
• deliver medication as needed
• assist the Charge Nurse in daily program operations.
