Job overview

The Software Architect III, Security & AI, Web Application Development role is hybrid, with four onsite days and one work-from-home day in Greenwood Village, CO. Pay is $65–$75 per hour on a W-2 basis. The role supports a client’s cloud-native web application platform and works with data-platform leadership and principal development leads. The architect owns end-to-end design and delivery of secure, scalable AWS applications, from infrastructure and CI/CD to AI integrations. The role advances platform engineering and developer productivity while applying security-first practices and supporting data, ETL, and reporting tools.

What you'll do

• Own architecture for cloud-native web applications on AWS
• design Terraform infrastructure-as-code and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• lead evaluation and integration of LLM-based tools and intelligent automation
• partner with leadership and principal engineers on in-house solutions
• assess ETL and reporting tools
• implement least-privilege IAM, automated vulnerability patching, and encryption by default
• support EKS, serverless patterns, platform engineering, and monitoring such as Datadog.
