The Kitchen Lead — Mammitas Coffee role is onsite in Iowa City, IA. Pay is $16–$18 per hour. The role supports Mammitas Coffee’s Latin café team. The kitchen lead prepares menu items consistently and helps keep daily kitchen service organized, clean, and efficient. The role also manages inventory and product rotation, supports ordering and catering preparation when needed, and coordinates with front-of-house staff and management.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook menu items
• follow recipes and portion standards
• assist with food preparation and kitchen setup
• maintain a clean, sanitary, organized kitchen
• wash dishes and keep prep areas stocked
• monitor inventory and help place and receive orders
• rotate products and monitor freshness
• assist with catering and special events when needed
• open and close the kitchen
• communicate with front staff and management.
