Quality Assurance Specialist — Deviation & CAPA

Job overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist role is fully remote, with Eastern and Pacific time zones preferred and an 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local schedule. Compensation is not specified. The role supports the Corporate Quality Management System team’s Deviation/CAPA function and corporate functions without Quality oversight. The specialist helps maintain effective quality processes by owning or approving deviation and corrective and preventive action records, supporting system and documentation controls, and advancing process improvement and training.

What you'll do

• Own or QA-approve minor and major deviations, CAPA, and effectiveness verification records
• support annual trend verification and deviation proficiency evaluation
• support system business-owner tasks, including user requirements, data-integrity assessments, test scripts, and user testing
• maintain process documentation and training materials
• coordinate Investigation Advisory Board meetings
• advise system users and approve record-update tickets
• review and approve change controls
• support continuous improvement and instructor-led training
• maintain related records, distribution lists, and metrics.
