The Cook role is onsite in Sumter, SC, with compensation of $13–$23 per hour. Covenant Place’s culinary team prepares nutritious, high-quality meals for residents. The cook prepares and serves meals that meet menu plans, dietary requirements, and resident preferences. The role also supports safe kitchen operations through sanitation, inventory assistance, and coordination with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus, dietary requirements, and resident preferences
• serve meals on time with attention to quality, portions, and presentation
• maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
• store and handle food safely
• assist with inventory and report supply needs
• respond to dietary requests
• work with kitchen staff and assist with training new staff as needed.
