What you'll do

  • Provide registered-nurse care in an outpatient EP lab focused on implanted cardiac rhythm-management devices
  • manage pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and loop recorders
  • interrogate devices, review findings, and assist with programming and troubleshooting per protocol
  • collaborate with the EP team on patient assessment, rhythm monitoring, and peri-procedural care
  • prepare patients for device checks
  • follow infection-control and safety practices
  • document in the electronic medical record
  • coordinate with cardiology staff and scheduling.
