Marine Pipefitter

What you'll do

• Lay out, fabricate, and install copper-nickel piping systems using blueprints and technical drawings. Measure, cut, bend, and fit pipes
• install systems for seawater, cooling, and hydraulic applications
• and prepare work for welding or brazing. Interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and shipyard instructions. Align and secure pipes, valves, hangers, and supports
• pressure-test systems
• inspect for leaks and defects
• and replace damaged components.
