Periodontist or Oral Surgeon — Ivy, VA

The Periodontist or Oral Surgeon position is onsite in Ivy, VA; compensation is based on 35% of collections, negotiable based on experience. The specialist provides periodontal and oral surgery care, diagnoses and treats periodontal conditions, and works with dental professionals to develop treatment plans. The schedule starts at three days per week and is expected to move to full time; Fridays are non-negotiable.

What you'll do

• Perform periodontal procedures including gum surgeries, surgical extractions, sinus lifts, and dental implants
• perform oral surgery procedures including extractions, biopsies, and implant placement
• diagnose and treat periodontal diseases and conditions
• develop treatment plans with dental professionals
• explain procedures to patients and maintain accurate records
• stay current with advancements in periodontal and oral surgery techniques and technologies.
